A story of a young boy who is a page of Earl/King Harold of England, based on the battle of Hastings time in history. Wulf goes on many daring missions for Harold that will hold you in deep suspense. Wulf, a young thane, is entrusted by Harold to run errands, and fights at quite a few battles, including the Battle of Stamford Bridge and the Battle of Hastings. The book, has the people talking in a way which we would not today; i.e. "Do not expose yourself too much on the field of battle, Wulf. I cannot spare you, and therefore charge you not to be rash, and if matters go ill to provide for your safety as far as you may."
